Welcome to Bonedust and Wildstar Press’ new anthology collaboration! 

What do you get when you combine two indie publishers who rave about the necessity of community, the desire to uplift voices that often go ignored, and the hedonism of original, fun, storytelling?

You get the Stardust Collaboration! This is a project between WildStar Press and Bonedust Press: an illustrated story collection, uniting prose and art to bring more people into our literary vision of fun and indulgence while encouraging success in each other.

Our first project will go live for submissions in May 2026.

HEAVY ARE THE YEARS

Time is constant and ever present. But what does that mean to an immortal, to an elderly retiree suddenly on a quest meant for someone half their age, or even to an otherworldly being with responsibilities that stretch over millennia?

Heavy Are The Years is an illustrated story collection about the weight of time on our minds, our bodies, and our souls. Is it a slow crush of despair under an endless toil? Looking back over decades of a well-lived life? The regrets of missing out, or the joys of discovering something new and unexpected?
