We are so excited to announce our new illustrated novella, This Mortal Coil.

Like all of our illustrated stories, This Mortal Coil is a collaborative effort, written by Jasmine Walls and illustrated by Marie Enger.
This book is set to release in July 2026.

Outliving an evil wizard would have been great for anyone other than an animated skeleton. Now they're stuck on a quest with a judgmental talking sword to find a decent wizard who can break the spell binding them to this mortal coil, once and for all.

In this dark, treacherous, fairytale-esque world, Marrow and Kingslayer will encounter murderous witches, cursed beings, and tortured ghosts as they shamble along on a journey that will either set them free or destroy them both.

Preorders are now live for the ebook, paperback, and the option we are most excited for: a limited exclusive that includes the paperback novella and handmade paper miniatures in collaboration with the amazing paper artist, BenoitRc!

These limited pre-orders will include a small Marrow (about 2 inches tall) with magnetic* joints, Kingslayer the broken blade, and a dungeon floor tile stand. Each miniature will be cut and assembled by us.

There will only be 75 of these miniatures available to order. Due to shipping costs, they will only be available within the U.S.

*These neodymium magnets are small but powerful, please keep them away from children (choking hazard) and they should be kept away from anyone using a medical device such as a pacemaker, as well as magnetically sensitive electronics.‍ ‍
